We recognize that recreational boating differs from commercial ship captaining and learning to operate your family boat should be an enjoyable experience that instills vital skills and confidence in a relaxed, yet professional atmosphere.
Beyond holding US Coast Guard Master Captain licenses, our educators have undergone rigorous additional training to teach recreational boat safety training courses in accordance with the American National Standard for on-water skills (ANSI) and NASBLA (The National Association of State Boating Law Administrators).
NSBC Instructors cultivate a safer recreational boating experience by training responsible boaters with in-person boating and docking classes.
Designed to help you operate confidently, this in-person boater safety course also meets state and insurance requirements and provides a nationally recognized certificate of completion which may lower your insurance premium.
We offer a fun way to enhance your boating skills by learning essential hands on handling techniques and boat to boat navigation rules.
Our on water boat safety training course and Free Florida Boating License Course accommodate all types of boats from 18 to 80. Experienced instructors will travel to your location meeting you at your boat and dock, delivering personalized, hands-on training tailored to your specific needs.
We also offer trainings aboard our boat, located in Mt. Dora Florida.
